Another two months gone...time flys bye...

Its crazy how time gets by but it does and its gone. I try to take as much pictures as i can so i can't look back and relive each memory. Its something new everyday!

Lets see you are now 7 months old. You are getting to be very big. They said at the dr at the last checkup that if you continued the rate of growth on you height that you would end up being over 6 foot tall. So you are very big. You are wearing some 9 months clothes already. :) We go through food and formula like crazy. We also started giving you a cup with juice in it. You just can't master holding it up but you try to drink from it. Keeps you busy for a little while. We started giving you puff cheese crackers. They are from gerber. You just cannot get enough of them lol. Still no teeth that we see yet but i feel sure they are on there way.

Some new things that have been going on in the last two months.....

You have been saying "Da Da" a lot here lately. We will wave to you and say hey and you will most of the time wave back. You have got really fussy and don't want to entertain yourself to much and when we go to pick you up you just fight us by pussing off and rolling around on us. So its aggravating at times at this age. Its like you just get frustrated that you can't sit up on your own when you fall over. It will come though. We just pass you around to different toys and the floor and the pack and play and the bumbo seat and then finally off to bed. Its like a normal routine. You are good during the day and then in the evenings you get very fussy. Maybe i sure hope you will get better. You so funny in that bumbo seat you will tap that little foot against the table constantly. Daddy calls you Thumper. You sure love you sister too she comes in and you are all smiles. She will make you laugh every time. You don't like her to close in your face though. You let her know! You have went back to getting up at night again like 12 and sometimes 2 or 4. Not sure if you are going through a growing spurt or what the deal is there.

You have got into the habit of crying when you see me walk by or go out of the room you will scream. And you know if you do i will come back and get you. So we are gonna have to try to break that one cause it has only made you more rotten! You will sit in that bumbo seat and sling you hands like you are flying and throw your head around and you are just having a good time. Its so funny the things that entertain you.

Your favorite thing is TAGS you are all about a tag on a blanket a toy anything you love them.

You are a very trying child! You are so very different then madison ever thought about being. I never believed it when people said each child is different. But now O I believe it and i live it everyday thinking my goodness my children are night and day. But I love each of them the same and more and more each day!

5 months and counting....

Well lets see the last post was around July 1st not too much is new each month so i may skip one in between but i still update whats going on.

So you are now five months and 15 days old. You are getting to be a big girl...If i had to guess i would guess you are pushing 20 lbs now. You are in 6-9 months clothes and size 3 huggies diapers. So you are a chunky monkey. Its all cute chunks though. ;) You are getting your own little personality about you. Some days its good others its not so good. You fuss just to get my attention cause you know mommy will always come running. Daddy on the other hand blocks you out and Madison will come running but she will over crowd you and get up all into your space. Which your space is very special and its very large and omg if you cross it. Someone will regret it.

You have been sleeping through the night very good for the last two months but you have your days where you slip and we wake up at 3am and take a bottle and want to stay up. Yea mommy is not too happy with those days.

Your still cooing and laughing more and more each day! Sometimes you will talk to Madison and you will have such a serious look on your face like you are telling her something very important. And then you will grab her hair and pull her head to yours its sweet.

You had your first trip to the beach this month Aug 15-22 2009. Yea well it was pretty good. You weren't very sure about it at first you liked the sand but not the water at first but you got used to it coming in on you. I think it just really scared you. But you got passed it and loved it. You would sit in your bumbo seat or we would hold you at the edge of the water and you would be content playing and EATING sand. Yes you ate sand and at one point a whole handful. Yea that night we would pay for it. You would fill diapers up...You didn't care much for the tent and under the umbrella you would rather have been down at the water with someone and in the sun. I guess you get it honest. All and All it was a pretty good trip.

You are getting so hands on with your toys now you just grab them up and it goes straight for the mouth. EVERYTHING must be tasted! LOL You bat at things hanging up and love to grab them and try to pull them down. We have now graduated into the bouncing play toys and exercisers and you love them. You will play and play in them and then when your done your done. You will scream out until someone gets you. Usually mommy! Swings you still put up with but really don't care for them.

You have found your feet and your all about grabbing them and trying to put them in your mouth. I will come to your room to get you in the morning and you will have a hold of them little feet just a playing.

You are still attached to your satin blankets and loveys they help sooth you to sleep and the paci.

As long as you have them your all good. Your a little snuggle baby.

I feed you a little baby food once a day. You love fruits and the vegetables well you will take them if you have to. We have found something during eating that you do NOT like. The airplane. Yea you do not like it at all! Video of this at the bottom.

At night when we sit down to eat dinner we put you in your bumbo seat and put you on the table you like it. I guess you feel like you are overseeing all of us. You try to grab our drinks and plates. One night i gave you a little of daddy's drink just to see if you could drink from a cup. Yea you can for sure no spitting or wasting. :) Video at the bottom.

You rolled over from your stomach to your back for the first time on August 14, 2009. I don't put you on your stomach a lot cause you constantly fuss. But you need to have a little tummy time to build muscles and on this day i put you on it and over you went. Now we just got to get you to roll from your back to your stomach. You will roll to your side to grab something but not all the way over. You love to stand to you will have the biggest grin on your face when you do you act like your so big!

You are starting to teeth. I saw a part of a tooth on Aug 29 and it was shining through but its gone i guess the surrounding gums are swollen. So it will peak through again soon.

You are now reaching for me when i am around so i will get you. Its so sweet i can't help but to pick you up and love you!

Everyone says your not like Madison that your a little handful and you but each child is different...I think really all it is really is your a Mommy's girl and that's not a bad thing. Can't wait to see you grow and change.....

Blankie Love

Well in the past two weeks you have mastered the grinning and cooing and have now moved on to making funny sounds that are high pitched. So cute!!! I think you are amazed by yourself making the noise. Monday June 29, 2009 we went to walmart with crystal and the girls and ivey was ill and fussing and you were being so good and happy and all of a sudden i heard this noise and asked crystal if that was ivey and she said no. And then you made the sound again...I just died laughing it was tooo cute! Since then you have been doing it on and on. (I guess its new)

Another thing you have got down is grasping onto things....You love your blankie you grasp onto it and pull it up to your face or either over your head. You have to have it to go nighty night. It pretty much has to go over your face or your not happy with it. You hold at least on hand on it and your happy! Give you your paci and blankie and your good! I guess you just love to snuggle. ;) You get that from your daddy!

I got you to giggle for the first time monday too (JUNE 29, 2009) I was playing with you on the bed and made you feel like you were bouncing on the bed and you let out a big giggle. It was precious.

What we are doing this week.....

This week we decided to go to Lithonia, GA with your dad while he worked there. Daddy works out of town a lot so now that Madison is out of school we can go with him. You have been pretty good considering your not in your norm. You are a little ill in the evenings but things are not on schedule like you are used to. We brought your favorite swing that we got from Travis so you are enjoying your time here. Makes you feel a little like home.

You are getting your own little personality now. I can see it come out more and more each day. You are too cute. You are so aware of your surroundings too you are constantly looking around to see whats going on or see something that catches your attention. Madison will play with you and talk to you and you will stare at her and take it all in like you are really listening to what she is saying. And then you will grin really big at her.

Your grinning and smiling all of the time now. You make everyone around you smile. You will make those sounds like a owl now and its so funny. But you do it cause it gets a rise out of everyone and that's what your trying to do. It gets you attention so hey it works.

I cannot believe you are getting so big. Each day passes its like i am missing something. It seems like yesterday i had you. :( But i am gonna enjoy every second with you.

How the time goes by.....

You are getting so big so quick....Its so sad how they grow up so fast. You still have colic and cry in the evening but its not as bad as it was for hours at a time. You maybe only cry for less than an hour and some days are better than others. I hate that you are in pain and theres nothing we can do to make it go away. Gas meds work eventually but nothing is a quick fix.

During the day you don't sleep too much anymore just maybe little cat naps. Your happy at times and grin and coo its so sweet. You are using your ooooooo's a lot now. Everythings ooo :). You will move your mouth like you wants to talk but not a lot comes out.

All about those hands too. Always trying to get them to the mouth. Its a battle all day, but keeps you content. When you finally get them you try to stick fist and all in your mouth.

Growing like a weed most of the 0-3 mths cloths don't fit anymore and you have moved to 3mths or 3-6mths outfits. BIG GIRL!

June 1, 2009 we got your ears pierced. You cried a little bit but pretty much like getting a shot once i hugged you things were good. You are so cute now. Everyone says you look older with them pierced. They have your birthstone in them. Not sure what it is but its blue.

You are giggling now its so cute. I got you on my leg and was riding the horsey and you giggled, its soo sweet.

In the beginning

Well lets see.....On March 16, 2009 I went to my normal weekly doctors appointment and they did a non stress test which Taylor was NOT active enough. They did some special ultra sound which she did not pass but 4 out of the 10 tests. Also my urine collect test come back with protein in my urine. So needless to say Dr Fox sent me to the hospital and they started inducing me at lunch time. I was so worried cause Michael was in Columbia and was almost three hours away. I was worried he wouldn't make it in time. When they induced me with Madison i had her in four hours. This time was much much different! They got the paperwork done got me started on the drip which was so slow but that's the way it is. Mom, Cindy, Shelli, Crystal and Athena were the ones there at first. Michael made it then he went home and got a shower and came back. It was a slow process so by the evening it was just Crystal, Mom, Michael, Daddy, Josh, Chris, Cindy, Audrey and Cecil. Time went on and we finally had her about 2:08 am. She weighed 8lbs 4ozs and was 21 inches long. She had a head full of brown hair. She cried at first but once under the lights she layed there so content. We came home in two days and i was so ready to be out of that bed! I attempted the breast feeding in the hospital and it was so hard but i did it and then when we came home she just didn't want to latch on at all so i started her on formula. Shes been on formula since.

~On May 6, 2009 She smiled and cooed for the first time
~On May 13, 2009 She wore a pair of shoes for the first time :) Size 0
~On May 28, 2009 She giggled for the first time
~On May 29, 2009 She grabbed and held onto a toy her little zebra
~The middle of may we moved taylor out of the bassinet in our room to her crib and she loves her new room.

She is growing so fast and there is something new everyday!

To my daughter

The reason for this blog is to remember certain milestones in my daughter Taylor's life. Children grow up so fast its like you blink and its a month later. I want to remember every detail not only in my memory but i like to write it down or should i say blog it. It is a new millennium so blog is the "IN" thing to do. Plus Taylor can look back on this and see how she grew into the woman she becomes.

I am almost two months behind on this as it is. Like i said before time flys. She will be two months old on June 17. So we gotta do a little catching up on the things before today before we can move on to the future :).
